Icknield Way Path
The Icknield Way Path is purportedly the oldest road in Britain, making it a unique journey for our glamping guests. The entire path runs for 110 miles from Ivinghoe Beacon (outside of Luton) to Knettishall Heath near Thetford. It is best suited for more experienced walkers.
The entire journey is split into eight day walks which go along prehistoric routes and Roman paths as well as through archaeological remains, charming villages and green pastures. If an eight-day trek seems a bit ambitious, you can always opt to do a section of the walk. Near West Stow Pods, the trail passes through the King’s Forest, along Angles Way to Euston.
